Stage 11 is a static dual-target speed drill at 15 yards. From low ready, fire 2 rounds into Target A, swing to Target B and fire 2 more — all within 3.5 seconds. No movement, pure target transition speed.
Without the complexity of movement, this stage isolates the target-to-target transition. At 15 yards with a 3.5-second par, you have roughly 1.5 seconds for Target A (presentation + 2 shots) and 2 seconds for the swing to B plus 2 shots. The math is tight — any fumble in the presentation or a slow swing eats your margin. This stage rewards shooters who have practiced multi-target engagements until the swing is automatic.
Two Marine E silhouette (or USPSA/IPSC) targets side by side at 15 yards. Carbine loaded, on safe, in low ready. Vest and helmet worn. Shot timer set to 3.5-second par.
MARSOC scoring: A zone = 2 pts, B/C = 1, D/miss = 0. Max for stage: 8 pts (4 rounds — 2 on A + 2 on B).
Pre-plan your swing direction. Most shooters swing left-to-right more naturally (for right-handed shooters). Set up A on your strong side so the swing to B feels natural. If you must shoot A on the weak side, practice the reverse swing.
Time your swing from A to B separately. The transition (last shot on A to first shot on B) should be under 0.8 seconds. If it is over 1 second, practice the swing as a dedicated drill. Goal: 8/8 pts under 3 seconds.
Three targets touching, then progressively further apart. Find the precise spacing at which your transition speed breaks down.
