What is a sight-in target with a 1 inch grid for?
Counting. Find the group centre, count squares back to the point of aim, and that is your correction in inches — no measuring and no arithmetic.
How should I print the sight-in target?
At 100% / actual size on A4 or US Letter. If the squares are not an inch, every correction you read off the sheet is wrong by the same factor.
What distance is this sight-in target for?
Any. No distance is printed on it, so the same sheet works for a 25 yard pistol zero and a 100 yard rifle zero.
