The Rifle Speed Barricade is a standard Tactical Games aggregate that mirrors the Pistol Speed Barricade but extends the engagement distance to 50 yd (46 m). Athletes must establish stable shooting platforms behind a VTAC barricade and deliver a single confirmed hit from each port.
With only one hit required per position, the emphasis shifts from split-time to first-round accuracy. The added distance with a rifle magnifies any instability in your platform – a small wobble at 18 yd becomes a clean miss at 50 yd. Together with the Pistol Speed Barricade, these are the only two aggregates in the Tactical Games format that require barricade shooting.
To progress, build positions that let the barricade bear the rifle’s weight. Index the buttstock or handguard against the port edge and drive your support hand into the barricade for a repeatable, rock-solid hold.
